Project-level invoices vs per-member lines
Jibble's free Xero integration does create invoices in Xero, but each line item is one team member's tracked hours. There is no way to group by project, control line item descriptions, or map to Xero tracking categories.
Hour Cap creates proper client invoices in Xero with line items grouped however you need: by entry, project, date, or team member. Tracking categories, account codes, and tax rates are all configurable.
Retainers built for billing, not attendance
Jibble tracks projects but has no concept of recurring client retainers. There is no billing period management, no alert thresholds, and no way to invoice a retainer period directly.
