Frequently asked questions

How does the free trial work?

Every new account gets 30 days of full access to all features, including Xero integration, unlimited budgets, and report exports. No credit card required. When the trial ends, you can upgrade or continue on the Free plan.

What happens to my data if I downgrade?

Nothing is deleted. All your time entries, clients, and projects stay exactly as they are. You just won't be able to use paid features like Xero sync or report exports until you upgrade again.

Can I add more users to a plan?

Yes. The Team plan includes 2 users and the Business plan includes 6. Additional users can be added at any time for a per-user fee. You're only charged for active users.

Do I need a Xero subscription?

Xero integration requires an active Xero subscription. Hour Cap connects to your existing Xero organisation and fills the gap between tracking time and getting it onto an invoice.

Can I switch plans at any time?

Absolutely. Upgrade, downgrade, or switch between monthly and annual billing whenever you like. Changes take effect immediately.
